How You Can Help
Get involved
To help protect some of the world’s most vulnerable communities, we need people like you to get involved and help us make a real difference. Here are a few ideas on how you can help support DAWN’s work.

Become a DAWN founder fundraiser!
DAWN founder fundraisers make a commitment to DAWN to raise £50 per year for as long as they wish.
It is possible to gift this amount however we feel it’s more fun and exciting to raise the money through an event or occasion which helps more and more people become aware of DAWN and the work that we do.
If more than £50 is raised, the more the better for the communities that we work with. Invite others to become involved and help broaden the network.
Organise a challenge to raise money:
- A sponsored run, trek or other event, a night at the horses, a wine tasting evening or an auction.
- Get your friends or work colleagues involved.
- Take ownership and sponsor a project yourself.
- Honour a loved one – contribute in the name of a relative or friend.
Corporate Partnerships
There are many ways in which your business can help DAWN
- Direct donations
- Gifts in kind
- Sponsorship
- Corporate fundraisers
- Events.

Create your own fundraising campaign – You could start a fundraising collection, either at work, in school or at your local sports club or pub.
Students and young people
Encourage your school friends, year group and other students to set up a DAWN club at school – raise awareness of disasters and disaster reduction and see how you can help.
